Admission Procedure

REGISTRATION FOR NEW ADMISSION BEGINS IN FEBRUARY

1. The admission form can be obtained on cash payment of ` 200/- on all working days between 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. from the school office-counter on all days of the week. Aspirants from outside Varanasi may have their admission forms by sending a bank ‘Demand Draft’ worth ` 250/-(Two Hundred only) drawn in favour of D. D. Model School and payable at Jaunpur or by money order of the same amount. Such candidates should write their names and addresses clearly with telephone and Pin Code number. The school will not be responsible for a postal delay or loss.

2. Forms dully filled with photocopies of requisite documents and a recent passport size photograph should reach before the last date as per information bulletin with the form.

3. Incomplete forms will be rejected.

4. The admission will be made on the basis of written test and interview. Canvassing in any form will amount to disqualification.

5. Out of the total strength 20% seats will be reserved. The seat reservation split as follows:
I. Members of scheduled castes and tribes 10%
II. Physically Divyang students (excluding visually handicapped and hearing impaired) 3%.
III. Migrants from disturbed areas 5%.
IV. Dependents of war-widow/ex-servicemen 2%.

Plus any change in policy by CBSE, New Delhi from time to time.

RULES REGARDING FEES AND OTHER CHARGES FOR A ‘DAY SCHOLAR`

1. Monthly tuition fee and if applicable conveyance charges will be charged for 12 months in an academic session.

2. Monthly fees and other charges of a student should be deposited before the 20th date of a month failing which a fine of Rs. 5/- (rupees five) will be charged till the month end. On the last date, the name of the student will be struck-off the rolls, Re-admission of such students will be possible only after the entire dues, along with re-admission fees, are deposited.

3. Conveyance charges depend on distance slabs. These charges, being based on current maintenance and running cost are subject to change from time to time. A student has to pay the latest charges fixed by the school management, as and when the need be. However, a notice to this effect will be circulated among the student commuters well in time. The parents/guardians will have to carry the student to school and take him/her back if the school transport fails to function.

4. The conveyance charges are to be paid for 12 months in a year.

5. In any case, fees once paid shall not be refunded, nor will be kept reserved for future.

6. Fees will be accepted in full and never in parts.

7. Apart from the above, the students will have to pay, from time to time, the following additional fees/charges:-
a. Examination/Board Registration/Practical fees.
b. Annual Function Fees
c. Magazine Charges
d. School Calendar Charges
e. Excursion/Historical Tour Charges
f. Medical expenses incurred on a student during school hours.

8. Requisite information related to fees etc. and their mode of payments must be obtained from the Chief Accountant, RES & Hostel before the commencement of an academic session.
